Abstract

The Liyangan site, which is located in Liyangan, Purbosari, Ngadirejo, Temanggung Regency, has been researched by the Archaeological Center of Yogyakarta for a decade. The results of these studies provide information on various data, chronology, and spatial aspects of the Liyangan Site. The data that will be discussed in this article is organic data derived from pollen and charcoal residue. The purpose of writing this article is to provide information about the diversity of plants on the Liyangan site. The method used in this article is a desk study in the form of a reference study of the research results that have been carried out on the Liyangan Site. The results of a desk study of plant diversity at the Liyangan site obtained information that the identification of plant remains obtained at the Liyangan site consisted of grass, shrubs, and trees. The diversity of plant species found at the Liyangan Site shows the characteristic of the Liyangan Site as a location to mark regional fertility.
